Meet Our Team

Dr. Michael PostellSenior Pastor

The son of a Baptist preacher, Pastor James began his ministry at Green Meadows in 2011, following years of distinguished service in sister congregations in the Carolinas. Music and pastoral care are his biggest responsibilities, but his ministry encompasses much more. James is a passionate worship leader whose great desire is to lead others to the throne of grace each week in our services. He reminds the congregation and his choir often that “God is good,” and everyone benefits from his wealth of wisdom and experience. James has been married to his wife Karen for over 30 years, and God blessed them with two children and four grandchildren.

Born and raised here at Green Meadows, Jacob has a deep connection and love for the friends and families here at his lifelong church home. He completed his undergraduate studies at Gardner-Webb University and graduate school at Wake Forest University in pursuit of a successful corporate career, but after a few years Jacob soon felt a void in his life. Recognizing a strong calling from the Lord, Jacob has followed God’s direction and now serves as the full-time youth pastor at Green Meadows while in pursuit of his Masters of Divinity at Southeastern Seminary. Whether it be Sunday night youth meetings, off-campus events, or even church league softball, Jacob longs to bring excitement and joy as we all strive to passionately live serving, following, and worshiping Christ. In their ministry at Green Meadows, Jacob is joined by his lovely wife Breanna and their newborn son, Jude.

Emily SiglerMinistry Assistant
Originally from Yadkinville, North Carolina, Emily is deeply connected to this area and to serving the Lord in ministry. She earned her undergraduate degree from Liberty University, where she also met her husband, TJ. The Lord soon brought the Siglers to Winston-Salem where Emily taught Biblical Studies at Calvary Day School for seven years. TJ and Emily also continued to serve in a ministry context with students through Young Life. In 2021, God opened a door for TJ to step into full-time ministry with Young Life, which eventually brought the pair to Davie County in May of 2022. Whether it is through volunteer service with Young Life or serving in the Church, Emily’s greatest passion is for people to know they are deeply seen, known, and loved by Jesus.
